Klara is a memory layer for Claude, available at klara.tools.
When you use Klara, we collect your email address and account credentials; memory entries you explicitly write during sessions — decisions, deltas, notes, and related structured content; project and namespace metadata; and payment confirmation. We never see your card details directly.
We do not collect, store, or have access to your Claude conversations. Klara only receives what you explicitly write to memory via a tool call. Conversation transcripts are never stored.
We use your memory entries solely to return them to you at session start and on recall queries. We use your email to send transactional messages — account confirmation and billing receipts. We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond delivering the service.
Memory entries persist until you delete them or close your account. Closing your account permanently deletes all associated data. We do not retain data after deletion.
To request data deletion or export, contact us at hello@klara.tools.
Klara uses third-party providers for database hosting, payment processing, and transactional email. Each operates under their own privacy policy. We share only the minimum data necessary for each function.
The data Klara receives and returns is passed through the AI platform you use. Klara was built as a connector to the Claude platform but supports any AI platform with MCP connectivity.
